Workshop:
Writing Your Art
Writing is difficult, but it's another essential form of communication
for any artist. Are you satisfied with your Artist's Statement? Your Biography
and CV? You will leave this lively workshop with a new version of each
and a new vision of how the artworld actually works. Robert Atkins, a
recent emigré from New York, is prepared to answer (almost) any
question youπve long pondered but been afraid to ask! Youπll
acquire new abilities to make the most of studio visits by curators, critics
and collectors, as well as information likely to elicit acceptances to
your studio-visit invitations. This workshop is designed not only to help
sharpen your writing skills, but to deepen your understanding of your
own art.
