Beverly Semmes

Beverly Semmes was born in Washington DC. She received her BFA from Boston Museum School in 1982 and her MFA from Yale School of Art in 1987. Recent exhibitions include: “La Flor del Paraiso, “ Kunsthallen Brandts Klaedefabrik, Odense, Denmark, “In the O,” Leslie Tonkonow Artworks + Projects, New York City, and “Wrapture,” Consolidated Works, Seattle, WA. Her work is in many public art collections including: Whitney Museum of Art in New York City, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C., Berkeley Museum of Art, Berkeley, CA, and the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, Ireland.
